  24. Check out comp.software.config-mgmt for lots of discussion of SCM (software
  25. configuration management) tools, which provide version control and other
  26. higher-level functionality critical to supporting collaborative development.
  27. There is an excellent multi-part FAQ in that group that is available in
  28. numerous archives and is reposted regularly.  Most SCM vendors (including P3
  29. Software) have web sites from which you can get detailed information about
  30. their products.
